This article explains the steps to install NoSQL Workbench for Amazon DynamoDB on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – NoSQL Workbench for Amazon DynamoDB
  • App Version – 1.0.0
  • App url – https://docs.aws.amazon.com/amazondynamodb/latest/developerguide/workbench.html
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink

Steps To Install NoSQL Workbench for Amazon DynamoDB

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install NoSQL Workbench for Amazon DynamoDB with the following command

    brew install --cask nosql-workbench-for-amazon-dynamodb

  • NoSQL Workbench for Amazon DynamoDB is installed now and ready to use!
