Easy steps to install openkim-models package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – openkim-models
What is openkim-models – Not Available for openkim-models
Use of openkim-models – All OpenKIM Models compatible with kim-api
URL – https://openkim.org

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install openkim-models using brew 
    brew install openkim-models

openkim-models  is ready to use now!
