Easy steps to install protoc-gen-go-grpc package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – protoc-gen-go-grpc
What is protoc-gen-go-grpc – Not Available for protoc-gen-go-grpc
Use of protoc-gen-go-grpc – Protoc plugin that generates code for gRPC-Go clients
URL – https://github.com/grpc/grpc-go

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install protoc-gen-go-grpc using brew 
    brew install protoc-gen-go-grpc

protoc-gen-go-grpc  is ready to use now!
