Easy steps to install protoc-gen-grpc-web package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – protoc-gen-grpc-web
What is protoc-gen-grpc-web – Not Available for protoc-gen-grpc-web
Use of protoc-gen-grpc-web – Protoc plugin that generates code for gRPC-Web clients
URL – https://github.com/grpc/grpc-web

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install protoc-gen-grpc-web using brew 
    brew install protoc-gen-grpc-web

protoc-gen-grpc-web  is ready to use now!
