This article explains the steps to install Qnap Qfinder Pro on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – Qnap Qfinder Pro
  • App Version – 7.2.0.0131
  • App url – https://www.qnap.com/en/utilities#utliity_5
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://www.macupdater.net/cgi-bin/extract_text/extract_text_split_easy.cgi?url=https://update.qnap.com/SoftwareRelease.xml&splitter_1=Mac_for_QT&index_1=1&splitter_2=downloadURL&index_2=1

Steps To Install Qnap Qfinder Pro

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install Qnap Qfinder Pro with the following command

    brew install --cask qfinder-pro

  • Qnap Qfinder Pro is installed now and ready to use!
