Easy steps to install raxml-ng package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – raxml-ng
What is raxml-ng – Not Available for raxml-ng
Use of raxml-ng – RAxML Next Generation: faster, easier-to-use and more flexible
URL – https://sco.h-its.org/exelixis/web/software/raxml/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install raxml-ng using brew 
    brew install raxml-ng

raxml-ng  is ready to use now!
