Easy steps to install restic package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – restic
What is restic – Not Available for restic
Use of restic – Fast, efficient and secure backup program
URL – https://restic.github.io/

Installation Steps:

1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.



2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null



3. Install restic using brew

   brew install restic

restic  is ready to use now!
