Easy steps to install shfmt package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – shfmt
What is shfmt – Not Available for shfmt
Use of shfmt – Autoformat shell script source code
URL – https://github.com/mvdan/sh

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install shfmt using brew 
    brew install shfmt

shfmt  is ready to use now!
