This article explains the steps to install SoundSource on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – SoundSource
  • App Version – 4.2.3
  • App url – https://rogueamoeba.com/soundsource/
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://rogueamoeba.net/ping/versionCheck.cgi?format=sparkle&bundleid=com.rogueamoeba.soundsource&system=10146&version=4000000

Steps To Install SoundSource

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install SoundSource with the following command

    brew install --cask soundsource

  • SoundSource is installed now and ready to use!
