Easy steps to install suite-sparse package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – suite-sparse
What is suite-sparse – Not Available for suite-sparse
Use of suite-sparse – Suite of Sparse Matrix Software
URL – https://people.engr.tamu.edu/davis/suitesparse.html

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install suite-sparse using brew 
    brew install suite-sparse

suite-sparse  is ready to use now!
