Easy steps to install swagger-codegen@2 package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – swagger-codegen@2
What is swagger-codegen@2 – Not Available for swagger-codegen@2
Use of swagger-codegen@2 – Generate clients, server stubs, and docs from an OpenAPI spec
URL – https://swagger.io/swagger-codegen/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install swagger-codegen@2 using brew 
    brew install swagger-codegen@2

swagger-codegen@2  is ready to use now!
