Easy steps to install swift-protobuf package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – swift-protobuf
What is swift-protobuf – Not Available for swift-protobuf
Use of swift-protobuf – Plugin and runtime library for using protobuf with Swift
URL – https://github.com/apple/swift-protobuf

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install swift-protobuf using brew 
    brew install swift-protobuf

swift-protobuf  is ready to use now!
