This article explains the steps to install TeamViewer on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – TeamViewer
  • App Version – 15.5.3
  • App url – https://www.teamviewer.com/
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://download.teamviewer.com/download/update/macupdates.xml?id=0&lang=en&version=14.7.1965&os=macos&osversion=10.15.1&type=1&channel=1

Steps To Install TeamViewer

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install TeamViewer with the following command

    brew install --cask teamviewer

  • TeamViewer is installed now and ready to use!
