Easy steps to install tomcat@7 package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – tomcat@7
What is tomcat@7 – Not Available for tomcat@7
Use of tomcat@7 – Implementation of Java Servlet and JavaServer Pages
URL – https://tomcat.apache.org/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install tomcat@7 using brew 
    brew install tomcat@7

tomcat@7  is ready to use now!
