This article explains the steps to install VOX Preferences on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – VOX Preferences
  • App Version – 1.5.14
  • App url – https://vox.rocks/mac-music-player/control-extension-download
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – http://updateinfo.devmate.com/com.coppertino.VoxPrefs/updates.xml

Steps To Install VOX Preferences

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install VOX Preferences with the following command

    brew install --cask vox-preferences-pane

  • VOX Preferences is installed now and ready to use!
