Easy steps to install x86_64-elf-gdb package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – x86_64-elf-gdb
What is x86_64-elf-gdb – Not Available for x86_64-elf-gdb
Use of x86_64-elf-gdb – GNU debugger for i386-elf cross development
URL – https://www.gnu.org/software/gdb/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install x86_64-elf-gdb using brew 
    brew install x86_64-elf-gdb

x86_64-elf-gdb  is ready to use now!
