This article explains the steps to install Xamarin Profiler on MAC OSX using homebrew cask

  • App Name – Xamarin Profiler
  • App Version – 1.6.13,11
  • App url – https://developer.xamarin.com/releases/profiler/
  • App dmg file – packagedmglink
  • App appcast link – https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/xamarin/tools/profiler/release-notes/1.6/1.6.13

Steps To Install Xamarin Profiler

  • Open Spotlight search using “command + space” button and type “Terminal“. Then press “return/enter” key. This will open terminal.

  • Run the following command in terminal to install brew cask

    ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null ; brew install caskroom/cask/brew-cask 2> /dev/null

    Install brew cask on mac

  • Now install Xamarin Profiler with the following command

    brew install --cask xamarin-profiler

  • Xamarin Profiler is installed now and ready to use!
