Easy steps to install xbitmaps package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – xbitmaps
What is xbitmaps – Not Available for xbitmaps
Use of xbitmaps – Bitmap images used by multiple X11 applications
URL – https://xcb.freedesktop.org

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install xbitmaps using brew 
    brew install xbitmaps

xbitmaps  is ready to use now!
