Easy steps to install xcb-proto package on Mac

Package Information:

Application Name – xcb-proto
What is xcb-proto – Not Available for xcb-proto
Use of xcb-proto – X.Org: XML-XCB protocol descriptions for libxcb code generation
URL – https://www.x.org/

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Terminal using Spotlight search by pressing  <command+space>. Type terminal and hit  Enter  key.

    2. spotlight search terminal

  2. Now, run following command to install homebrew (brew)

    3. ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

  3. Install xcb-proto using brew 
    brew install xcb-proto

xcb-proto  is ready to use now!
