Get cassandra installed on Mac using Brew

Package Information:

Name: cassandra
Use: Eventually consistent, distributed key-value store
URL: https://cassandra.apache.org

Installation Steps:

1. Open Terminal by pressing <command+space>. Type terminal and hit Enter key.
2. Copy the below command and execute
   

   ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/master/install)" < /dev/null 2> /dev/null

3. Install cassandra using brew

   brew install cassandra

cassandra is ready to use now!
